Entry Level Engineer

Department: Engineering

Reports to: Chief Engineer

 

Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Engineer to join our company which has a long history and strong reputation in the field of heat transfer and vacuum technology.

Description:

Responsible for performing basic engineering duties while learning the technology associated with Nitech’s traditional business.  Applies knowledge of engineering principals to design the company’s products in compliance with governing codes, regulatory requirements and client standards.  This includes preparation of drawings and specifications for manufacturing and customer review.   Acts as technical liaison to assist vendors in manufacturing the company’s products.  Performs field diagnostic service and operator training at equipment sites.  Conducts quality inspections at sub-vendor facilities.

Qualifications:

–       Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or closely related major.

–       Strong analytical skills with a sound understanding of engineering principals.

–       Excellent computer and communication skills, both oral and written.  Must be proficient with the following software: MS Word, MS Excel, and AutoCAD.  In addition, knowledge of MS Project, Codeware and basic website design a plus.

–       Must be willing and able to travel on short duration assignments.

–       Must be able to complete project targets with multiple priorities and deadlines.

–       Proactive and proficient at problem solving.

–       Experience with vacuum systems a plus.
